CYPESOUND allows engineers to design and verify the acoustic performance of buildings, covering indoor and outdoor airborne sound insulation, impact sound insulation, reverberation and sound pressure generated by building equipment. Projects can be checked against supported national regulations or customised requirements based on EN 12354 (ISO 15712).
Building spaces, construction elements, equipment and acoustic properties can be organised within the project model, with detailed calculations and compliance reports generated for individual rooms. Geometry and construction systems can also be obtained from BIM information.
Through BIMserver.center integration, CYPESOUND can participate in collaborative Open BIM workflows, importing project information and sharing acoustic-analysis results with other project disciplines.
