Plugin MedBIM – Revit connects Autodesk Revit directly with Arquimedes for BIM-based quantity take-off and estimating. Model elements can be associated with bill-of-quantities items, measured automatically using Revit properties and materials, and transferred into new or existing Arquimedes estimates for detailed construction cost management.

Overview

Plugin MedBIM – Revit creates a direct workflow between Autodesk Revit and Arquimedes for obtaining quantities from BIM models. Revit categories, families, types, instances, rooms, materials and parameters can be read and associated with items in an Arquimedes bill of quantities.

Items can be assigned automatically using Revit keynotes, while quantities may be calculated by element or material using configurable formulas, filters and measurement criteria. Multiple Revit models can also contribute to the same project estimate.

From CYPE version 2027.a, the MedBIM – Revit plug-in supports Autodesk Revit 2027, keeping the quantity-extraction workflow compatible with the current Revit generation.
