CYPE Connect is a structural modelling and connection-design solution for steel and timber structures. It allows engineers to model structural members and define, analyse and verify their connections using finite-element analysis with the OpenSees calculation engine.
From version 2027.a, CYPE Connect also incorporates the former StruBIM Steel capabilities, allowing structural modelling, connection design and fabrication documentation to be handled within a single environment. Projects can be developed manually or imported from structural models created in applications such as CYPECAD and CYPE 3D.
The software supports connection checks, structural drawings, connection detailing and project documentation, while integration with BIMserver.center enables coordinated Open BIM workflows.
