Overview

Open BIM Switchboard is designed for the detailed configuration of electrical switchboards, distribution panels and control or protection enclosures. Engineers can define panels and their associated switchgear, then arrange rails, supports, plates, protection devices, busbars and bridge lines within each enclosure.

Electrical-system information can be imported from CYPELEC and compatible external applications, allowing panels and switchgear to be generated from previously calculated installations. Completed enclosures can then be positioned within the 3D project environment.

The application generates drawings, reports and bills of quantities and exchanges project information through BIMserver.center for coordinated Open BIM electrical workflows.
