Urban gas-distribution design software for analysing, checking and automatically sizing meshed, branched and mixed networks while verifying pressure, flow and design requirements.
CYPE Gas Supply is designed for the analysis, design and automatic sizing of urban gas-distribution networks. Engineers can define supply and consumption points, create meshed, branched or mixed layouts, calculate appropriate pipe diameters and verify pressure and hydraulic design constraints while incorporating terrain information and coordinating infrastructure data through BIMserver.center.
Overview
CYPE Gas Supply analyses and automatically sizes gas-distribution networks for urban infrastructure. Engineers can create meshed, branched or mixed layouts, define one or more supply points and enter consumption at each node as either flow rate or required heating capacity.
The software determines appropriate pipe diameters and checks the network against defined pressure, velocity and other design constraints. Network geometry can be entered manually, generated from DXF/DWG information or coordinated with imported terrain data.
Through BIMserver.center, topographic IFC information can be incorporated into the project, while completed models, drawings and reports can be exported for coordinated urban infrastructure documentation.
