Plugin Open BIM – Revit connects Autodesk Revit directly with the Open BIM workflow used by CYPE and BIMserver.center. It allows Revit models to be shared through IFC, coordinated with multidisciplinary project contributions and updated as projects evolve, while also providing advanced tools for extracting IFC content and converting selected models into editable native Revit elements.

Overview

Plugin Open BIM – Revit integrates Autodesk Revit projects with BIMserver.center, allowing models to be shared through IFC and coordinated with structural, MEP and other discipline models. Users can monitor project updates, manage IFC links and exchange information between Revit and CYPE applications.

Linked IFC content can also be extracted into Revit as DirectShape objects for filtering, scheduling and documentation. More advanced workflows convert compatible IFC information into editable native Revit families and systems.

Current native-element capabilities include structures, reinforcement, piping, HVAC systems and luminaires, supporting a more complete workflow between specialised CYPE engineering applications and the Revit environment.
