CYPELEC is CYPE’s integrated application for designing and analysing low-voltage electrical installations. Engineers can create single-line diagrams, configure circuits and protection devices, perform load-flow and short-circuit calculations, and verify systems against supported national or international electrical standards while coordinating project information through Open BIM workflows.

Overview

CYPELEC provides a complete environment for designing low-voltage electrical systems through editable single-line diagrams and structured circuit trees. Engineers can configure supplies, switchboards, lines, circuits, protection devices and cables while performing load-flow, short-circuit and regulatory checks without power or line-number restrictions.

The current application provides different regulatory environments, including Core for international IEC-based design, REBT, NF, RETIE and PL. Manufacturer catalogues can also be used for switchgear and cables.

Through BIMserver.center, CYPELEC can receive distribution information from CYPELEC Distribution and share results with CYPELEC Multiline, CYPELEC Networks, Open BIM Cable Routing and Open BIM Switchboard.
