Software Intro

CYPELEC Electrical Mechanisms models terminal elements of electrical and telecommunications installations within architectural spaces. Designers can position switches, sockets, lighting points, emergency lighting and communication outlets, automatically generate required outlets from BIM equipment, and verify installation requirements for rooms and protected bathroom and shower zones.

Overview

CYPELEC Electrical Mechanisms provides a dedicated environment for modelling terminal electrical and telecommunications components such as switches, socket outlets, lighting points, emergency lighting and audiovisual or telephony connections. Devices can be placed manually or generated automatically from equipment contained in a BIM model.

The application can verify minimum points of use within rooms and check whether electrical equipment is permitted within defined bathtub and shower safety zones. Manufacturer catalogues can also be incorporated through the Open BIM Database.

Models, drawings and quantities can then be shared through BIMserver.center, including information for CYPELEC Distribution and telecommunications workflows.
