CYPE Cost Estimator provides rapid construction cost estimates during the early stages of architectural design. Using limited project information, it considers building area, height, use, construction quality, geometry, location and economic conditions to progressively estimate project execution costs from preliminary studies through increasingly developed design stages.
Overview
CYPE Cost Estimator automatically generates preliminary construction cost estimates using key project characteristics such as geographical location, floor area, building use, quality, geometry and construction conditions. The workflow progresses through three levels: preliminary studies, draft project and design project, increasing the detail of the resulting estimate as more information becomes available.
Initial results include the overall project execution budget and construction cost per square metre. Later phases provide costs by work section and sub-section, including foundations, structure, envelope, finishes and MEP systems.
Projects can also connect with BIMserver.center for model exchange and coordinated preliminary project workflows.
