CYPE 3D provides a complete workflow for modelling, analysing and designing three-dimensional structures. Engineers can define nodes, bars, plates and shells, assign structural materials, configure load cases and combinations, and perform the required code-based checks from a unified interface.
The software supports steel, reinforced concrete, composite, aluminium, timber and user-defined structural elements. It can analyse node displacements, support reactions, internal forces, deformations and ultimate-limit-state checks. Advanced capabilities include linear buckling analysis, modal vibration analysis, pushover analysis, seismic analysis and fire-resistance checking.
CYPE 3D also supports the design and verification of welded and bolted connections, baseplates and foundation elements such as pad footings, pile caps, tie beams and strap beams. Project geometry can be created directly or imported from IFC, DWG, DXF and text-based files.
After analysis, the software generates detailed calculation reports and structural drawings. Results can be exported in formats including PDF, DOCX, DWG, DXF, CSV, IFC and GLTF, supporting coordination with BIMserver.center, CYPECAD, CYPE Connect and Autodesk Revit workflows.
CYPE 3D can be applied across a wide range of structural engineering projects and workflows, including:
