The HP bypass system is used to feed super-heated steam from boiler directly to condenser without going to the turbine. This situation happens when plant in start-up period or during emergency. To match the live steam and turbine metal temperatures for a quick start up, by-pass stations are provided which dump the steam to the condenser through pressure reducing station and de-super-heaters. All these processes happen during the period steam parameters at the boiler when they are being raised. These stations are the addition to the quick start-up of turbine and low noise level, which also economize the consumption of D.M. water.
